Matthew Ferrera

My name is Matthew Ferrera. A background in acting and the performing arts inspired a lifelong love of storytelling in me. I have previous experience working at organizations like Business Insider and The News Movement creating engaging video content for both traditional and vertical video.

I believe strongly in making news that’s accessible, engaging, and representative of society at large. My focus is on creating impactful projects that meet audiences where they are, inspiring conversation and critical thinking on the way we view our world.

I have an MA in Journalism with a concentration in documentary filmmaking from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
